Every Broom Trend Variant: My Ride Is Here, Witch Broom Crash, Flying Witch and More

The flying broom trend started with one joke and kept changing. By late October 2026 there were at least five versions in people's feeds, all with the same idea: a person, or a pet, riding a broomstick through an ordinary scene as if it were normal.

People search for the same clip under many names: broom riding AI, flying broom AI, flying broomstick AI, the witch broom trend. Below is what each version actually shows, so you can tell which one you saw.

My Ride Is Here

What happens: filmed from a car stopped at a red light. Outside the passenger window, someone sits sideways on a broom, hovering like it is their daily commute. They look in, smile, and when the light turns green they fly off.

What people call it: My Ride Is Here, the my ride is here AI trend, the broom car trend.

This is the original. The joke depends on everything else being ordinary: daylight, a suburban street, everyday clothes. A witch costume is optional; plenty of the best ones use a hoodie.

Witch Broom Crash

What happens: the rider flies down a quiet street straight toward the camera, takes one hand off the broom to flash a peace sign, looks into the lens instead of ahead, and flies into a road sign.

What people call it: witch broom crash, the witch broom trend, broom crash, the "funny flying" template, and sometimes the Harry Potter broomstick crash filter (it has nothing to do with Harry Potter).

This is the version that took off in the second half of October 2026. The appeal is the timing: the peace sign is the setup, the clang is the punchline.

Less of a joke and more of a Halloween postcard. It works well for profile videos and Halloween posts where you want something pretty rather than funny.
